Storm vs. Roosters Predictions
—
Best Bet
Money has come for the Roosters because they’re the more desperate team, but that didn’t work out too well for them when getting hammered by the Eels last week.
It could be a similar outcome on Friday night against the Storm, who look to hold onto their top two spots, and we’re happy with the –3.5 line available with bookmakers.
They might be resting the likes of Harry Grant and Eliesa Katoa, but the Roosters are without Sam Walker, who was playing in great form. Without Walker in the lineup, the backline struggles to get the ball moving.
The Storm has more depth than any other team, and they should get the job done with their second unit.

Same Game Multi
Ryan Papenhuyzen has been in fine try-scoring form recently when scoring tries in his last two games. He should get plenty of chances to score against a struggling Roosters defence that allowed 30 points against the Eels.
He’s a $1.94 chance to score, which is slightly shorter than Daniel Tupou at $2.05. Tupou returns from injury, and before being injured, he scored five tries in two games. That’s a fine try-scoring record, and he could outleap the Storm defenders for a try.
We predict an open contest, and the current points total line of 43.5 is on the short side. Include the over in your NRL same game multi picks.

Best Value Bet
Cameron Munster prefers to set up tries as opposed to scoring them, but he could fancy his chances of crossing the line against a tired Roosters defence.
He’s often pushing up and running off the ball runner, so one of the outside backs could find him on their inside for a try.
Given the $3.75 odds, we’re happy to back the Storm captain to score.
