Super Rugby Pacific Round 4 Tips

Friday 6/3/26

5:05pm Chiefs vs. Moana Pasifika @ FMG Stadium

Betting Tip: Chiefs –27.5 @ $1.90

The Chiefs will not be happy with how they played against the Crusaders last week. They gave up a 14-0 lead to lose the game, but they get a much easier opponent in Moana Pasifika on Friday night.

Moana Pasifika suffered a 35-19 loss to the Force last week, which isn’t a good form guide, and the Chiefs are expected to run up a big total.

We have the Chiefs winning by close to 40 points in what should be ideal conditions in Hamilton.

7:35pm Waratahs vs. Hurricanes @ Allianz Stadium

Betting Tip: Hurricanes @ $1.72

The Hurricanes suffered a shock loss to the Fijian Drua last week as –14.5 favourites, but there were some excuses for their performance.

The field had turned to mud after heavy rain lashed the area, and although the Hurricanes should still beat the Drua, they prefer dry rugby. They have a potent back line, which is great at counter attacking, so this game should be more up their alley.

The Waratahs had a bye last week following a home win over the Drua, but the best value is with the Hurricanes at nice odds.

Saturday 7/3/26

2:35pm Highlanders vs. Force @ Forsyth Barr Stadium

Betting Tip: Highlanders –9.5 @ $1.90

The Highlanders were a little unlucky to lose 31-14 to the Reds last week, and we didn’t think there was much between them.

They get a good chance to post a win over the Force, and although we backed the Force to win last week, they didn’t face much in terms of opposition against Moana Pasifika. Playing the Highlanders in Dunedin will be much harder, hence the –9.5 line.

Based on their form this year, the Highlanders are good enough to win by double-digits in front of a big home crowd.

5:05pm Blues vs. Crusaders @ Eden Park

Betting Tip: Crusaders –2.5 @ $1.90

We’re not sure how the Blues lost to the Brumbies last week. They had a big lead with only minutes to go, and they had their hands on the ball with under a minute to go.

It was a classic choke from the Blues, and their attitude could struggle this week against a Crusaders team coming off a big win over the Chiefs.

The Crusaders usually get the better of the Blues in this rivalry game, so take the –2.5 line with Super Rugby odds.

Crusaders by 7

7:35pm Brumbies vs. Reds @ GIO Stadium

Betting Tip: Brumbies –6.5 @ $1.90

Despite not playing well last week, the Brumbies somehow managed to score two tries in the final 10 minutes to down the Blues.

It was an incredible win for the leading Australian franchise, and we think they have a sizable advantage over the Reds, especially with the momentum they bring into this game.

The –6.5 line might not hang around for Saturday night’s game, so we’re locking it in. They are the better team in this matchup, and playing at home is another positive.
