Super Rugby Pacific Week 7 Tips

Friday 27/3/26
We have Moana Pasifika in our Super Rugby tips purely because of the weather in Auckland. It’s shocking weather across the Tasman this week, and that could make it tough to score points on Friday night.
The field will be slippery and covering a –15.5 spread in wet isn’t easy. Therefore, despite Moana Pasifika struggling to show anything in 2026, they are worth including with the significant points advantage.
The $5.50 moneyline price is also worth a nibble.

The Brumbies looked good when beating the Chiefs as underdogs last week, and that was their toughest win to date.
The Chiefs had every chance to win, but the Brumbies pulled away to win 33-24, and that form bodes well when facing the Waratahs, who lost 35-20 to the Blues.
We don’t see much going right for the Waratahs, and although it’s an all-Australian game, the Brumbies should prevail comfortably to cover the –12.5 spread.

Most of the money has come for the Hurricanes to score a one-sided win, but the Reds can’t be overlooked in what should be wet conditions.
The Reds come off a tough win over the Fijian Drua in Fiji, and winning there is something the Hurricanes weren’t able to do earlier this year, so that win is a good form guide for Saturday afternoon’s game.
Getting a +13.5 start is generous from bookmakers, and it only requires the Reds to play somewhere near their best.

There are some big Super Rugby spreads this week, and we’re backing the underdogs to largely come up with the goods.
The Drua were disappointing last week when scoring just six points against the Reds in Fiji, but they are good at bouncing back, especially when getting a massive +20.5 line from bookmakers. They are good enough to keep it close at a soggy Eden Park.
If the Drua starts well, their confidence will increase and give the Blues something to worry about.

The Chiefs didn’t live up to expectations against the Brumbies last week, but they don’t often underperform in consecutive weeks.
Playing the Force should help their cause, as the Force have only one win from their last five games. They have shown improvement this season, but not enough to handle a Chiefs team looking for an easy rebound.
The –14.5 line is in the high region, but the Chiefs have plenty of points in them.
