Fremantle vs. Gold Coast Predictions

Best Bet

Fremantle -11.5 @ $1.90

We were impressed with Fremantle’s win last week over the Western Bulldogs, and it could take that momentum to a win over the Suns.

Gold Coast also looked impressive when beating the Bombers, but the level of opposition was poor, and travelling to Perth to face the Dockers is a different task. The Dockers should take advantage of the situation, and they’re one of the form teams in the comp.

Their only recent slip up came against the Lions, but apart from that, they have been rock-solid. That’s why we’re backing them to win and cover the –11.5 spread, which is lower than what we expected with AFL odds.

Same Game Multi

Fremantle –11.5, Patrick Voss 2+ Goals, Jye Amiss 2+ Goals, Total Match Points Under 168.5 @ $10.00

Patrick Voss and Jye Amiss can get hot for the Dockers, and we fancy them scoring 2+ goals each against Gold Coast.

They performed well last week against the Bulldogs, scoring three goals each, and there is no reason why they can’t keep that form going. Voss has four three-goal games from his last five appearances, which is excellent form.

Amiss has three three-goal games from his last five games, and punters get $1.84 and $2 respectively, so the odds are attractive.

Under 168.5 points is worth including in AFL SGM picks. They combined for 139 points when meeting in May, so the line is higher than expected.

Best Value Bet

Patrick Voss First Goal Scorer @ $11.50

Playing with confidence is a great thing, and Voss could come out of the gates firing on Saturday night.

He scored three excellent goals last week, and although there are many goal scoring options for Fremantle, he inserts himself into the offence from the get-go.

The $11.50 odds are worth including as an AFL value bet.
