We have Gold Coast vs. Fremantle predictions for action on Saturday May 31 at 1:20pm at People First Stadium.
The SUNS are firm favourites to stop a two-game losing streak to the Dockers, who won 85-65 when meeting in June last year.

Gold Coast vs. Fremantle Predictions
—
Best Bet
Gold Coast should win the game, but we can’t see it winning by 40+ points. Therefore, the 1-39 line is worth including in AFL predictions this week.
The SUNS come off three consecutive wins over St Kilda, Hawthorn, and Western Bulldogs. Two of those wins were tough, and they won all three games by less than 20 points. That’s a good sign for our 1-39 bet, especially against a Fremantle team coming off a big win over Port Adelaide.
We can’t see Fremantle winning outright, but after beating Port and GWS, it’s playing with confidence. It should be a close game, with Gold Coast edging clear in the second half.

Same Game Multi
We predict a high scoring game in Gold Coast on Saturday, and the 175.5-point line is in the high region for a reason. They scored only 150 points last year, but that followed a 190-point combined effort in 2023. That’s more of the game we expect this week, where goals should flow freely.
Spearheading the goal scoring duties are Ben Long and Jye Amiss. Long is only $1.56 to score 2+ goals, so we opted to take the $2.80 to score 3+ goals. He comes off consecutive games with 3+ goals, so the odds are in our favour.
Jye Amiss doesn’t miss all that often, and we have backed him consistently. He might have scored only one goal last week, but he has scored a double in three of his last five games. That’s enough for us to include him in AFL same game multi picks at $2.30 odds.

Best Value Bet
If he’s going to score 3+ goals, Long will need to start the game well, and we can’t turn down the $10.50 odds from bookmakers.
Betting on first goal scorer markets are always fun, and if Gold Coast wins centre bounce from the outset, it could score a goal within the first 30 seconds of the game. Looking to capitalise will be Long, who could have a massive game.
