Sydney vs. Geelong Predictions
—
Best Bet
Most of the early money has come for the Swans, who have left their run too late. They have four wins from their last five games, and although they sit in 10th on the AFL ladder, last year’s finalists are better than that.
We’re prepared to give them respect against Geelong, despite the Cats scoring four wins on the bounce. Sydney won the most recent meeting 112-82 last year, so that’s in its favour, which is why bookmakers are keeping it close.
It’s a tough game to cap, but we’re happy to take the underdog with the points.

Same Game Multi
Punters get value odds for Isaac Heeney to score 2+ goals at $2.15. The Swans kicker scored five goals last week, and although he hasn’t been the most consistent scorer in 2025, he could end the year on a high note.
Getting anything better than $2 for Heeney is a good price, and he should boost AFL SGM odds alongside Shannon Neale, who pays $1.64. Neale has 10 goals from his last three games, and he’s helping the Cats chase down Adelaide for the top spot.
We expect another solid scoring effort from Neale, and it should be a high-scoring game. Over 170.5 points is included in our AFL multi bet, in a game that could end with a 94-86 scoreline.

Best Value Bet
Sydney could start with a bang and test Geelong, so we’re taking the $2.60 odds for a halftime lead.
They are playing with enough confidence to make Geelong’s place on the ladder come under threat, and playing at home is always a big advantage.
There is enough value in the odds to include it in AFL picks.
