Heat vs. Stars Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Heat have a 4-1 record against the Stars in their last five games, but this is a different Stars team in 2025. They have yet to lose a game, and a playoff spot is all but secured.
They have combined good batting with excellent bowling, and although the Heat have looked good at times, they could struggle to deal with the consistency of the Stars lineup, which hasn’t been tested too much.
We don’t think they’ll mind playing on the road, and they would have paid around $1.60 if they were at the MCG. Therefore, take the $1.70 and include the Stars in Big Bash bets.

Same Game Multi
Sam Harper has been a beast for the Stars, scoring totals of 55, 110, and 29 not out in his last three games. He has been a big season for their success, and the 19.5-run line isn’t giving him much respect.
Colin Munro has disappointed for the Heat. He has only 36 runs from his last four games, and the under has cashed in each game. We’re sticking with the trend and backing Munro to struggle.
The same goes for Lachlan Hearne, who had two runs in his BBL debut. It wasn’t a good showing, and we can’t see him scoring over 15.5 runs near the bottom of the order for the Heat.

Best Value Bet
Harper has been money for punters this season, and there is no reason to jump off his back against the Heat.
Scoring 110 not out in a T20 game is rare, and he followed it up with a quick 29 runs. He’s seeing the ball better than most batters in the league and getting $5 is a good price from bookmakers.
He should have another high-scoring night.
