Renegades vs. Hurricanes Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Renegades made a positive start to the Big Bash season, scoring a big win over the Brisbane Heat. They scored 212 runs, which isn’t easy to do.
That’s a top performance from a team that typically play as the betting underdogs, which is the case again for Sunday’s game. We believe they are good enough to hand the Hurricanes another loss, especially playing at home.
We would have priced the Renegades at around $1.85 to win, so getting $2.15 is a value price. We can’t turn that down, and the likes of Tim Seifert and Mohammad Rizwan could lead the way at the top of the order.

Same Game Multi
Seifert scored a brilliant 102 against the Heat, and the Kiwi international is unlikely to slow down against the Hurricanes. He doesn’t always play with consistency, but he’s seeing the ball well, and he’s worth including in cricket multi bets.
Rizwan scored only four runs in his BBL debut, but he’s a classy player. His form should improve quickly, and the 25.5-run line shows how much faith bookmakers have in him.
Conversely, Tim David could struggle for the Hurricanes. He will face a good bowling attack early in the game, and we have him scoring under 20.5 runs.

Best Value Bet
Rizwan would have been terribly disappointed with his Big Bash debut effort. Scoring just four runs isn’t something he usually does, but cream rises to the top.
The Pakistani international has a wealth of experience, and we’re not surprised to see him at the top of betting markets for Melbourne run scorer.
We recommend taking the $3.05 with bookmakers, as those odds could firm to around $2.80 on Sunday evening.
