We have Scorchers vs. Strikers predictions for the Big Bash game, which will be held on Sunday, January 4 at 9:15 pm.
The Scorchers are the shortest-priced favourites so far this season at $1.57, but the money looks well-placed for the home side.

Scorchers vs. Strikers Predictions

Best Bet
It’s a short price for the Scorchers, but they are worth including in Big Bash multi bets this week.
They got off to a slow start, but after winning their last two games in fine style, including a huge win over the Hurricanes, they’re in a good spot to make a playoff run.
They produced a total of 229 runs when beating Adelaide, having lost only three wickets as Mitch Marsh scored a century. It was the Scorchers of old and showed us why they’re the most successful franchise in BBL history.
Playing at home is another positive, and with the Strikers losing two of their last three games, this might be a stretch too far for the visitors.

Same Game Multi
Ashton Turner faced only one ball in Perth’s win against the Hurricanes. He had little time at the crease, but we expect him to have more time against the Strikers. He’s likely to get promoted up the order if they lose a few early wickets, which bodes well for over 17.5 runs.
We’re backing Marsh to have another big game. It’s not easy following up a century, but he’s seeing the ball well, and it was a fine bounce back after struggling to start the year.
The Scorchers are on of the best six-hitting teams in the comp, and we have them scoring over 7.5 sixes. They often feature in high-scoring games, so they should hit the mark.

Best Value Bet
Joel Paris is having a solid year for the Scorchers, and he could tear through the Strikers’ batting order with ease.
We haven’t been overly impressed with the Strikers batting so far, and a bower like Paris could pick up 2-3 wickets and be the game’s top bowler.
