Sixers vs. Hurricanes Predictions
—
Best Bet
Despite betting against the Sixers and for the Hurricanes earlier this week, we’re backing the Sixers to win the grand final qualifier.
They choked away a win against the Scorchers, which was disappointing for their fans, but there were some good signs. Their bowling attack was electric in keeping the Scorchers to a low score, and although the batters capitulated, it was more circumstantial.
Steve Smith had another solid innings, and it didn’t help with his teammates falling around him. We expect him to have another tidy innings, and his steady hand could give the Sixers the edge against the Hurricanes, who played only 17 innings on Wednesday night.
It was a rain-shortened game against the Stars, so it’s tough to get a line on that performance. Playing in Sydney won’t help, so back the Sixers to get a chance to enact revenge on the Scorchers in the final.

Same Game Multi
We haven’t seen a line as big as 34.5 runs this season, but that’s how well Smith is playing. The Australian international is having an amazing BBL15, and we expect that to continue in the qualifying final at the SCG.
It hasn’t been as impressive for Babar Azam, but now is the best time to find form. He is also a quality international player, and the Sixers would love him to have a big scoring night alongside Smith. Back him to score over 20.5 runs.
Mitchell Starc adds to our stable of international players. He has been good since coming into the Sixers team, and he’s a good chance to pick up 2+ wickets.

Best Value Bet
There is a lot of respect for Smith in betting markets, and despite being $2.40 to be the Sixers top run scorer, there is value in the odds.
He has been the best player for the Sixers, and he’s tough to get out. He doesn’t play silly shots at the wrong time, and he knows he has the full 20 overs to produce the goods.
Look for Smith to steer his team to a win with 50+ runs.
