The Strikers just fell short against the Heat last week, but with the help of playing at home, we’re backing them to reverse the result.
It hasn’t been the start to the Big Bash League Adelaide was hoping for after dropping their last two games but getting back to winning form doesn’t take much effort. Playing at home always helps the Strikers, which is why they’re favourites to win.
We expect better performances from their senior players, including Chris Lynn, Matt Short, and Alex Ross. They have a solid bowling attack, which hasn’t been excellent, but if they can nab a few early wickets, they could jump on the Heat.

If the Heat doesn’t give him respect, he could pick up another couple of wickets, and we thought he would be at shorter odds. The Heat’s Shaheen Afridi is the current favourite to take 2+ wickets, and he has only two wickets this season.
