Thunder vs. Heat Predictions
—
Best Bet
It was an incredible victory from the Heat last week, chasing a huge total when beating the Perth Scorchers.
Losing just two wickets when chasing 257 is unheard of, and that victory should give the Heat all the momentum they need to kick on with it. Jack Wildermuth and Matt Renshaw scored centuries in the history-making innings, so they’re playing well.
We also don’t like how the Thunder played when losing to the Sixers in the Sydney derby. They were knocked over easily after allowing 198 runs, and although they have good players, they’re not putting it all together on the pitch.
Punters get value odds for the Heat at $1.92, so back them to win.

Same Game Multi
We’re backing Wildermuth to have another strong performance after scoring 110 runs. It was a big bounce back effort following a duck in his BBL debut, and scoring over 17.5 runs shouldn’t be too difficult.
We weren’t impressed with Sam Konstas and David Warner last week. They played poor shots to lose their wicket, so we’re including them in our BBL multi picks to score under 19.5 runs and under 24.5 runs respectively. Konstas lacks consistency, and his confidence levels are down after scoring just two runs against the Sixers.

Best Value Bet
Scoring 102 runs and not being your teams top run scorer is rare, but punters should go again with Renshaw.
He comes off a massive innings, and he looks more comfortable than most Big Bash players. He has international experience, and he should soak up the early pressure to post another sizable total for the Heat.
Getting $4.20 is a great price, so include him in BBL picks as a value bet.
