As the calendar turns through 2023, attention naturally begins to turn to the upcoming Formula 1 season.
With the dust just about settling from one of the most one sided campaigns in recent memory as Max Verstappen had way too much for the field, clinching his second Formula 1 World Championship title, it promises to be an intriguing battle for glory in 2023.
Inevitably, driver and team changes have been dominating the headlines in the off-season, as every team wriggles for the fine margins that could be the difference when it comes to putting the cars on the track.
With so much intrigue and speculation surrounding the 2023 F1 season, it promises to be another fascinating campaign, which is set to get underway in Bahrain on March 5th, 2023.

2023 F1 Championship Winner
Max Verstappen – $1.71
Dutchman Max Verstappen and his Red Bull car had way too much for all the other drivers on the grid in 2022 and how he would love to make it three consecutive titles in 2023. A far cry from his 2021 F1 title wins, 2022 saw the Dutchman smash the field in almost every race and whilst neutrals will be hoping for less of a gap between Verstappen and the pack this season, Verstappen will be eager to make it more of the same.
Charles Leclerc – $7.00
Ferrari have endured a few barren seasons on the Formula 1 circuit, but Charles Leclerc has been a lone bright light in recent campaigns. Having had to work hard to make the number one seat in the team his own, Leclerc is now the undisputed number one at the Italian giants, and he will be hoping to spearhead their championship attempts this season. After a bright start last term, Leclerc faded heavily, and he will be eager to string a full season of performances together in 2023.
Lewis Hamilton – $7.00
Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton had their wings clipped somewhat last season and they will be eager to go again this term. The British legend has won the F1 world title on seven occasions and he still retains that fire in the belly but he was battling with the car at times last term, which simply wasn’t playing ball with him. How Mercedes have addressed the car in the off season remains to be seen but if they give Hamilton anything to work with, he could be bang in the mix again this term.
George Russell – $17.00
Mercedes have a habit of churning out the next big name in Formula 1 racing and in George Russell, they looked to have plucked another gem. The former Williams driver has impressed hugely over the past couple of seasons, demonstrating driving skill and speed, in a car that simply didn’t have the fire power of its grid rivals. An impressive first campaign with Mercedes could be something to build upon here and if Russell starts well, he cannot be discarded.

Constructors Championship Winner
It was a one way street last season, with Red Bull bossing the show and who will be able to catch them in 2023?
Each season presents a new opportunity for teams to get into the mix in the constructors championship and in 2023, it looks to be a closer run event than in many a recent season:
Red Bull – $2.00
Christian Horner and Red Bull had too much for everybody last season and they will be eager to keep up that form heading into 2023. Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez make up their stellar line up this season once again and with the pair dovetailing so well last season, they perhaps look a bit overpriced with a super-fast car in the garage too.
Mercedes – $4.50
Having Lewis Hamilton and George Russell wasn’t enough in 2022 but the Brits will be eager to get rolling in 2023. Pre-season testing hasn’t suggested that they will be ready to compete fully with Red Bull this season, but they can never be written off with their drivers line up and with serious innovation in the garage too, who knows their bounds.
Ferrari – $4.50
Ferrari last clinched a Constructors Championship trophy in 2008 and how they would love to bring their long wait to an end this season. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr will spearhead the team once again in 2023 and their partnership showed glimpses of its promise last season. Lasting the course of the season will be their ultimate aim this term, after dropping off big time when it mattered last term.
