We have expert betting tips for the Grant Thornton Invitational this week, which is one of the more unique and newer events on the PGA Tour.
The men and women combine to win the tournament, and it’s headed by Nelly Korda and Tony Finau. However, the likes of Sagstrom/Aberg and Thompson/Fowler are in the hunt.

Grant Thornton Invitational Golf Tips & Predictions
—
Grant Thornton Invitational Best Bet – Korda/Finau
It’s hard to look past the dynamic duo of Nelly Korda and Tony Finau. The Americans are the $7.50 favourites in a wide-open field, which isn’t shocking.
Finau comes off a good performance at the Hero World Challenge, and although Korda isn’t playing her best golf, this format should be right up her alley.
She has the length to keep up, and she should team well with Finau, who is one of the more likable players on the PGA Tour.
It’s always hard to know how they will play in this format, but it’s exciting, and punters get odds worth snapping up for the Grant Thornton Invitational.
Bet: Korda/Finau @ $7.50
Grant Thornton Invitational Best Value – Thompson/Fowler
Lexi Thompson is one of the biggest hitters on the LPGA Tour and that should pair up well with Rickie Fowler.
She doesn’t always have the best short game, but she recently competed against the men, so she has more experience than most of the women in this tournament.
We also like the way Fowler has been playing over the last year. Despite going through some rough times, his game is back to its best.
They’re on the third line of betting at $10, and we’re taking the value odds. We expect to see them near the top of the leaderboard throughout.
Bet: Thompson/Fowler@ $10
Grant Thornton Invitational Best Roughie – Ko/Day
The Australasian connection with Lydia Ko and Jason Day could reign supreme this week.
Lydia Ko has long been one of the best golfers in the world, ever since she was a teenager playing in Auckland’s North Shore.
The former world number one is going through a form slump, but her relaxed attitude could be perfect for the Grant Thornton Invitational.
She pairs with Day, who has been playing well during the Fall Series on the PGA Tour, and they should have plenty of similarities.
Ko’s superb short game and Day’s good iron play are a match made in heaven, so the $12 odds could shorten throughout the week.
Bet: Ko/Day @ $12
Grant Thornton Invitational Next Best – Zhang/Theegala
Two of the more promising players on their respective tours, Rose Zhang and Sahith Theegala should play well in this format.
There has been a lot of pressure put on Zhang to perform, and although she hasn’t hit those heights yet, she’s still very young.
We have no doubt she’ll have a huge 2024, and Theegala could join her. He is a PGA Tour winner in 2023, and we fancy his chances to win a few more tournaments in the coming years.
Confidence is with these players, and we’re not surprised by the $11 available.
Bet: Zhang/Theegala @ $11
Grant Thornton Invitational Blowout – Vu/Dahmen
If you want entertainment, look no further than Lilia Via and Joel Dahmen, who should bring plenty of laughs.
That’s not to say they can’t win the tournament. Vu is having a great year, so she’s playing well enough to beat the other women in the field.
Dahmen will need to lift his game to play better than the likes of Finau and Fowler, but this format suits him perfectly.
We expect this pairing to play better than the $17 odds suggest, so include them as the blowout golf pick.
Bet: Vu/Dahmen @ $17
