Presidents Cup Tips & Predictions

Presidents Cup Winner – USA

It’s hard to bet against USA when it comes to Presidents Cup competition. The Americans haven’t lost since 1998, and although there have been some ties, punters should be confident of a USA victory.

Headlined by the likes of Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele, there aren’t many weak points with the team, which is why they’re favoured at $1.40 to win outright.

Punters don’t get massive odds for the favourites, but there is better value with USA –3.5 points, which currently trades at $1.80. That’s a fair line, and although the Internationals are good enough to keep it close, USA should be too strong on single days.

Take USA to win and include it in your golf multis for the Presidents Cup.

Bet: USA –3.5 @ $1.80

Presidents Cup Top USA Points Scorer – Scottie Scheffler

Scheffler deserves to be favourite for top USA points scorer, and he could lead by example this week in Canada.

The world number one won the Olympic gold medal before taking out the season-ending FedEx Cup, and that should elevate his confidence levels.

Despite winning only one major tournament in 2024, he played at an elite level throughout 2024, and he will be favoured to win every match he plays, pairs and singles. Therefore, he’s the obvious choice to lead Team USA with points.

Punters get $5.00 for Scheffler, and we’re happy to have a saver bet on Patrick Cantlay at $7.00. It hasn’t been a vintage Cantlay year, but he’s someone who elevates his game in team competitions.

Bet: Scottie Scheffler @ $5.00

Presidents Cup Top International Points Scorer – Adam Scott

Money has come for Adam Scott to be the top points scorer for the Internationals, and it’s hard to disagree with the money.

Sungjae Im opened as the favourite, but strong money has come for Scott, who brings a lot of experience to the table for the Internationals.

Scott firmed into $6.75, and he has been a consistent player over the years. Therefore, he should play most of the matches and he’s unlikely to rest, so his chances of winning the most points is higher than the likes of Mackenzie Hughes and Min Woo Lee.

Take the Australian to give the Internationals a fighting chance.

Bet: Adam Scott @ $6.75

Presidents Cup Correct Score – USA 17.5 – Internationals 12.5

It’s not easy to predict the correct score in team golf, but there is enough value with golf betting markets to have a small wager.

We’re backing USA to win by five points, which pays $11.00. Those odds are generous enough to take, and we expect Team USA to score a convincing win.

The wager with less risk is taking USA –3.5 points, but the $1.80 pales in comparison to $11.00 for this option. Therefore, the Presidents Cup exotic bet is worth having a nibble.

Bet: USA by 5 Points @ $11.00
