Ascot Racing Tips for Saturday, November 7th 2026First race in 1d 12h

Racing heads West on Saturday with Ascot hosting a big 10-race card. The Lee Steere Stakes and Luckygray Stakes headline the big card, and when action out of Flemington and Randwick are finished, try your luck betting at Ascot, which is a premier venue.

Race 1. (14:54) Magic Millions Plate (1100m)

#6 - Just an Illusion @ $3.10

BET NOW

Just an Illusion could win on debut for Neville Parnham, and he knows how to get them up and running on debut.

The two-year-old filly looked good when winning both trials, and she doesn’t need to improve much off those trials to win here.

Take the $3.10 before her odds firm on race day.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 2. (15:34) Carbine Club of WA Apprentices Cup (2200m)

#2 - I Love Ya Money @ $2.20

BET NOW

Looking to back-to-back wins is I Love Ya Money, who likes racing at Ascot with three starts for a win and two placings.

The four-year-old son of Gingerbread Man is a three-time winner overall, and she has a good turn-of-foot at his disposal, which helps.

2kg comes off his back, adding to his appeal.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 3. (16:14) SGC Australia 1MW (1600m)

#1 - Masmelo @ $4.40

BET NOW

Masmelo didn’t fire at Ascot fresh up, but she’s a better racehorse than that, and she gets another chance from us.

The Parnham-trained mare owns two wins and four placings overall, and those two wins came at Ascot, so the form checks out.

3kg claimer goes on board, so she should run a good race.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (16:54) PPS Water Group 1MW (1400m)

#2 - Prince of Dala @ $2.30

BET NOW

Looking to make a winning return is Prince of Dala, who scored three wins and a placing from five starts, which is a tidy record.

His most recent effort came at Belmont when running second behind Hot and High, and we love that form guide for this race.

The $2.30 odds should firm considerably on race day, so take the price.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 5. (17:34) Tabtouch Westspeed Platinum Heat 2 (1200m)

#7 - Cosmic Treat @ $7.00

BET NOW

Punters could be treated by Cosmic Treat, who isn’t always the most consistent type going around, but she won well three back at Bunbury.

The four-year-old mare by Universal Ruler owns two wins and two placings from 13 starts overall, so she has shown ability at times.

It’s not a hard field, so she’ll give a sight.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 6. (18:15) Waroa Fairetha Stakes (1400m)

#1 - Beatty @ $1.85

BET NOW

We think Beatty could be the next big thing to come out of the West, and he didn’t let punters down fresh up at Ascot.

The three-year-old colt by Gingerbread man made it five wins from six starts, and he was awfully unlucky not to be unbeaten.

Barrier four is ideal, and we’re cracking into the current odds.

Stake: 3.5 Units

Race 7. (18:51) MC Equine Surfaces BM66 (1200m)

#3 - Fast Harry @ $3.20

BET NOW

Fast Harry made a good start to his career, and although his recent form hasn’t been ideal, he should bounce back with a big run.

The five-year-old son of Harry Angel is a four-time winner overall, with two of them coming at Ascot, and he gets all favours from the draw.

We expect him to be tough to hold out, so take the current odds.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 9. (20:05) Afgri Equipment Lee Steere Stakes (1400m)

#6 - King of Light @ $1.95

BET NOW

King of Light is a seriously good horse with seven wins from eight starts, and he’s perfect in two runs back from a spell.

The four-year-old son of Earthlight is another runner from Perth who we expect to see in Melbourne at some stage next year, and this will be a good test.

The odds are firming, so take the current odds.

Stake: 3 Units

Race 10. (20:44) National Jockey Trust BM78 (1200m)

#8 - Snitzalatte @ $6.50

BET NOW

We’re taking the value odds for Snitzalatte, who should be fitter for two runs under her belt this preparation.

The four-year-old mare by Snitzel owns four wins and three placings from 12 starts at Ascot, and although down on her best form, she could pick it back up.

Lucy Fiore rides, which gives us confidence.

Stake: 1 Unit
