He won two trials at Randwick earlier this year before having two solid trials since, and he looks ready to make an impact on race day.
Zac Lloyd rides, and we expect his odds to firm on race day.

#3 - Cheval De Bois @ $3.00
Looking to cap off consistent form is Cheval De Bois, who is good enough to win at this level.
The four-year-old son of Redwood owns a win and five placings from eight starts, and his placing two back at Rosehill is a good form guide.
This isn’t much between this field, but he should give punters a sight.

#3 - West of Dalby @ $11.00
West of Dalby deserves to win a race sooner rather than later after competing against stronger fields.
The six-year-old daughter of Santos ran sixth at Randwick last start in BM78 grade, and she also recorded a placing behind Big Red Tequila earlier this prep.
Anything close to that should be enough to put this field away.

Race 5. (15:45) Asahi Super Dry BM72 (1250m)
#8 - Phantom Major @ $3.30
Phantom Major scored a quality win at Canterbury last time out, and seeing James McDonald stick with him is ideal.
The four-year-old son of Snitzel sat at the back of the field before rounding them up easily, and that’s not easy to do at Canterbury.
Look for him to settle near the back before sprinting past them late.

Race 6. (16:20) Ranvet BM72 (1100m)
#1 - Ruination @ $5.50
We’re backing Ruination to make a winning comeback after finishing second at Warwick Farm in March.
The four-year-old son of Wootton Bassett owns two wins and two placings from six starts, so it has been a good start to his career.
It’s not an easy midweek field, but he has upside.

Race 7. (16:55) Hyland Race Colours BM72 (1550m)
#8 - Pierata's Gem @ $3.90
Pierata’s Gem isn’t always an easy runner to follow, but we’re giving her another chance after running fifth at Rosehill.
The five-year-old mare by Pierata is always the around the mark without winning, but this level of racing should be up her alley.
The inside draw could switch her on, so keep her safe.
