Pinjarra horse racing tips

Race 1. (14:34) Barragup Self Storage Plate (1000m)

#2 – Silent Diva

Gunning for consecutive wins is Silent Diva, who won by a half-length at Belmont on debut as a $3.20 chance.

The two-year-old daughter of Alabama Express gets William Pike in the saddle, and that adds to her chances of winning again.

Look for a betting push on race day.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 2. (15:09) Tabtouch Share My Bet 1MW (1000m)

#6 – Hezangelic

Hezangelic owns two wins and four placings from 10 starts overall, and he’s good enough to add to his tally on Saturday.

The son of Universal Ruler won at Pinjarra fresh up by 1.5 lengths before placing at Belmont, so that’s a good form guide.

Barrier five helps, and there aren’t too many negatives to his winning chances.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 3. (15:46) Country Comfort Perth Plate (1200m)

#1 – Wind and the Lion

Wind and the Lion has been around the mark throughout his career, including a second placing fresh up at Ascot.

The three-year-old son of Written By hit the line nicely for second behind Celestial Storm, which is a tidy form guide for this level of racing.

Carrying 60kg isn’t ideal, but he’s good enough to carry it to victory.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 4. (16:24) Hygain 1MW (2200m)

#3 – Famous Dain

Famous Dain is already a two-time winner this preparation, and although he has yet to win at Pinjarra, that could change on Saturday.

The four-year-old son of Shamus Award has three win and seven placings, so he has been around the mark throughout his career.

It’s another good ride for Pike, who could have a big day.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 5. (16:55) Westspeed Platinum Autumn Final (1400m)

#2 – Bohemian Diamond @ $1.75

Money has come for Bohemian Diamond, who owns three wins from nine starts, including fresh up at Belmont by two lengths.

The four-year-old mare by Maschino is a two-time winner over the distance, and she should enjoy racing at Pinjarra for the first time.

Take the short odds and include her in multis.

Stake: 3 Units

Race 6. (17:30) Tabtouch Have You Got the Touch BM72 (1000m)

#7 – Celestial Storm

Looking for consecutive wins is Celestial Storm, who won by 1.5 lengths at Ascot last time out.

The four-year-old mare by Zoustar owns five wins and seven placings from 20 starts, and it’s another premium ride for Pike.

This field is there for the taking, so include her in picks.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 7. (18:10) Swan Draught 1MW (1300m)

#3 – Platinum Shot

Team Pearce lines up Platinum Shot, who is a four-time winner overall from 23 starts, with two of those wins coming this prep.

The four-year-old daughter of Shooting to Win runs well on good tracks, and although this is a tough field, she’s good enough to handle it.

Look for value each-way odds on race day.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 8. (18:50) Hahn Super Dry BM66 (1400m)

#8 – Camera Action

Boasting winning form is Camera Action, who won at Ascot three starts back before winning again at Belmont last time out.

The four-year-old has yet to race at Pinjarra, but with four wins and four placings from 13 starts, she’s never too far away from the mark.

Barrier four is ideal, so include her in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit
