Scone horse racing tips

Race 1. (12:10) Arrowfield Country Maiden (1000m)

#2 – Mofeed @ $2.15

Mofeed ended last preparation with five consecutive placings, and he should get a win this preparation.

The four-year-old son of Akeed Mofeed has been well-backed since markets opened, and getting the inside draw is ideal.

We’re happy to include him in multi bets.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 2. (12:45) Agnes Marshall C1 (900m)

#2 – Lady Memphis @ $2.30

Lady Memphis was too good for them at Goulburn last time out when winning in heavy conditions, and she could return from a spell in good order.

The three-year-old by Invader is bred to show early speed, and after opening at $2.90, money has come for her to win.

She could close at around $1.90, so take the value available.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 3. (13:20) Scone CWA Centenary BM82 (1000m)

#9 – Ritzsun @ $1.90

We have backed Ritzsun a few times this preparation, and after consecutive second placings, he’s due a winning performance.

The three-year-old gelding by Sebring Sun owns two wins from three starts at Scone, so getting back to this track could see him score an overdue win.

Getting in with 55kg makes that task easier.

Stake: 3 Units

Race 4. (13:55) Heather Ashford Maiden (1300m)

#5 – Omaha Sand @ $5.00

Each-way value is with Omaha Sand, who didn’t fire in three runs this preparation, but he’s good enough to turn that around.

The three-year-old son of Omaha Beach has been given three trials to prepare for this run, and after opening at $8, the money has come.

That’s a good sign, so include him in picks.

Stake: 1.5 Units

Race 5. (14:35) Darley BM58 (1300m)

#3 – Calico Miss @ $2.15

Calico Miss won well on debut before placing last time out, and that form is good enough to handle this field.

The daughter of Better Land hit the line nicely as a $1.50 favourite, and although beaten, punters should stick with her.

Getting the inside draw adds to her chances of winning.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 6. (15:10) Coolmore C1 (1600m)

#5 – Oakfield Mercury @ $5.00

Kris Lees lines up Oakfield Mercury, who won at Gunnedah on debut before placing last time out.

The three-year-old colt by So You Think was only a nose away from staying unbeaten, and getting $5 for his chances on Tuesday is good shopping.

Barrier two suits and he can’t be left out of calculations.

Stake: 2 Units

Race 7. (15:45) Rella Keen BM58 (1700m)

#2 – Jonny Be Swift @ $6.00

Looking to cap off solid form is Jonny Be Swift, who placed at Gunnedah and Taree before finishing fifth at Muswellbrook last start.

It wasn’t his finest performance, but he’s never too far away, and there isn’t much depth to this BM58 field on Tuesday.

Given the available odds, he’s worth including in picks.

Stake: 1 Unit

Race 8. (16:25) Scone Equine Hospital C1 (1100m)

#6 – Archaic Force @ $2.90

Archaic Force should be fitter with three runs under his belt this campaign, and the son of Cosmic Force is good enough to handle this field.

He has only one win from five starts, but he’s much better than his record suggests, so we’re happy to stick with him.

Money has come for him and the $2.90 could shorten.

Stake: 1.5 Units
