Shooting for consecutive wins is Questionable, who scored by Dubbo by 1.8 lengths last time out.
The five-year-old mare by Stratum Star owns two wins and three placings from 11 starts, including a win at her only start at Tamworth.
That’s a good sign, and she’s worth backing in the opener.

#1 - Blazed Prince @ $5.50
Blazed Prince hasn’t been too far away from the prize this campaign, including a placing at Tamworth.
Something slightly better than that would be good enough to beat this field, and it’s not an overly deep C1 contest.
We expect him to run well at each-way odds.

Race 3. (14:50) Cetnaj Tamworth Maiden (1400m)
#3 - Tasman Deel @ $3.40
Tasman Deel ran third on debut at Scone against a similar field, and he looked to have more improvement than most.
The four-year-old son of Dundeel is only going to improve with racing under his belt, and having Aaron Bullock in the saddle helps his chances.
We expect the $3.40 odds to shorten close to start time.

Race 4. (15:25) TLE Tamworth Maiden (1200m)
#1 - Yeah Buddy @ $3.90
Yeah Buddy keeps running well without winning, but surely it’s his time after posting nine placings from 10 starts.
The Rodney Northam-trained son of Lean Mean Machine comes off a tough second placing at Scone, and we liked the way he battled to the line.
3kg comes off his back, which is enough to take him close.

Race 5. (16:05) McDonald’s Tamworth C2 (1200m)
#3 - Golden Vader @ $7.50
Punters get each-way odds for Golden Vader, who won at Dubbo earlier this preparation before adding two placings to her record.
The five-year-old mare owns two wins and five placings overall, which is good enough form to be winning in C2 company.
Take the $7.50 odds as a value price.

Race 6. (16:40) Tradies Support the Ladies Pink Night BM66 (1400m)
#2 - He’s My Warrior @ $6.50
He’s My Warrior has two second placings from his last three starts, and he could improve on that result.
The six-year-old son of Hallowed Crown has plenty of experience, having posted four wins and nine placings, which is a good form line.
Rory Hutchings is a strong rider, so punters should be confident.

Race 7. (17:15) West Entertainment Group BM82 (1000m)
#7 - King Potter @ $2.45
King Potter opened at $2 before drifting to a more backable price, and punters get better odds now.
The five-year-old son of Rothesay won at Taree to end last preparation, and he has been given two soft trials since.
He has good speed, which could be enough to beat this field.
