We’re putting some respect on the Broncos’ name after scoring a tough win over the Wests Tigers last week. The 21-20 victory was a good effort, and we’re not sure why they are $2.48 underdogs to win at Suncorp.

They won both meetings against the Bulldogs last season, in what was a title-winning year. They have won four of their last five games overall, and although injuries haven’t made it easy, they’re a team with excellent depth.

It’s rare to see the Bulldogs paying $1.54 to win on the road against the Broncos, especially after losing three of their last four games. Their win came over the Panthers, which was a big upset, but they let themselves down with a 38-20 loss to the Eels as –14.5 favourites last week.

Based on that, the Broncos are an excellent bet as the +4.5 underdogs on Friday night, which is their favourite time to play.
