Bulldogs vs. Dragons Predictions

Best Bet
The Bulldogs didn’t play well last week, but they did enough defensively to get past a disappointing Cowboys team.
They were down 8-0 in the first half before two late tries saw the Bulldogs take a 12-8 lead into halftime. That was the final score, so although their attack has been left wanting, they are tough to score tries against.
That’s where they could dominate against the Dragons, who struggle to defend after allowing 31 and 28 points over the last two games. The Bulldogs won 28-20 in the first meeting of 2025, and we expect an even better performance this week.
Take the –8.5 line before it potentially shifts higher.

Same Game Multi
Scoring tries hasn’t come easily for Jacob Kiraz recently, but the try line should be open for business for the Bulldogs. He has no tries from his last five games, but he remains the favourite to score a try at $1.79.
His drought should be broken on Saturday, and it could continue for Jethro Rinakama, who scored in his NRL debut last week. That was a terrific effort, and punters $1.88 for the 18-year-old to cross the line again.
Despite picking two Bulldogs players to score, we don’t think it will be a high-scoring game. That’s mostly because we believe the Dragons will score only around 12 points, so include under 45.5 points in your NRL multis bets.

Best Value Bet
It’s unlikely that the Dragons will do enough to stay competitive in this game. They have history and recent form working against them, and this could be a statement game from the Bulldogs, who once led the NRL ladder.
They want to establish themselves as a top team, and although the Dragons have talent in their team, they struggle with consistency, so the Bulldogs could run away with it.
