Bulldogs vs. Panthers Predictions
—
Best Bet
We tipped the Bulldogs to win before the big odds move, but we’re not interested in taking them to cover a –19.5 line. The Panthers second unit often plays well in these situations, and a +19.5 start is massive regardless of the team put out there.
They showed their toughness when beating the Warriors with most of their top players out earlier this year, and the Bulldogs aren’t a team that’s playing well enough to win by a big margin, especially in softer conditions at Accor Stadium.
If the Panthers can hang around in the first 20 minutes, they’ll grow in confidence, so take the points with the underdogs.

Same Game Multi
Paul Alamoti has rediscovered his best try-scoring form with a try in each of his last three games. He might not have Nathan Cleary on his inside, but he should fancy his chances of scoring at generous $2.75 odds.
We also like Bulldogs’ Jacob Kiraz to score at $1.58. The odds are much shorter, but he should boost NRL SGM odds with a try after scoring four in his last five games.
It should be a low-scoring affair, in what could materalise as a defensive game. Neither team wants to expend too much energy with the finals approaching, so even if the Bulldogs get an early lead, they might be happy to sit on it.

Best Value Bet
We are doubling down on Alamoti and backing him to score the first try, which would stun the Bulldogs faithful.
He’s a potent enough try scorer to get it done, and if Brad Schneider plays well in the halves, he could set up Alamoti for the opening try.
Getting $13 is well worth including as a value NRL bet.
