Cowboys vs. Bulldogs Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Cowboys need to show up against the Bulldogs, and we’re backing them to keep it close at home.
They currently sit in 12 on the NRL ladder, so they’re in danger of missing the finals, so a win against the Bulldogs will see them close the gap on the top eight. It won’t be easy, but they are 2-0 in their last two against the Bulldogs, who have lost their last two games to the Panthers and Broncos.
Now is the time to strike when playing the Bulldogs, who were leading the competition but have since slipped to third. They’re not playing with the same level of confidence, and the Cowboys have enough talented players to score a win, and at the very least, cover the +6.5 spread.

Same Game Multi
We cashed in with Scott Drinkwater last week against the Storm, where he scored a try, and we see no reason to jump off his back against the Bulldogs. Punters get $2.85 for Drinkwater to score, and although the Bulldogs defence is solid, he has three tries from his last two games.
Punters get much shorter odds for Jacob Kiraz at $1.72, but he’s worth including. He hasn’t scored in his last four games, which could explain the Bulldogs’ recent struggles, but it’s only a matter of time before he scores.
There should be plenty of tries in an open contest, so include over 47.5 points to boost NRL same game multi odds.

Best Value Bet
There is good value in backing the Cowboys head-to-head. They are the more desperate team, and with their State of Origin players getting a few days to recover, they should be fit and ready to fire.
Look for Tom Deardon and Drinkwater to control the attack for the Cowboys, who could turn their season around with a statement win as the home underdog.
