Dolphins vs. Cowboys Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Dolphins get their State of Origin players back this week following a loss to the Sharks, and they could dominate the Cowboys on Thursday.
They met last month at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, and it was the Dolphins who won 58-4, which was an emphatic display of rugby league. A repeat of that effort won’t be easy, but we have more faith in the Dolphins compared to the Cowboys.
North Queensland didn’t score a point in the second half against the Bulldogs last week, and they’ll need to score a lot more points to keep the Dolphins from covering the –4.5 spread.

Same Game Multi
Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow didn’t play last week, and he was sorely missed. The Queensland Maroons fullback has eight tries from his last four games, so he’s in red-hot form, and we can’t turn down the $1.74 odds for him to score.
Those odds are excellent for the Dolphins superstar, who has enough pace to get around any NRL defender. We also like Herbie Farnworth to score a try at $1.89 odds, with the Englishman scoring last week against the Sharks.
As it was in the first meeting this year, where they scored 62 points, we expect another high-scoring game. The final score could be around 30-20, so we’re happy to include over 48.5 points in our NRL same game multis.

Best Value Bet
After scoring four tries in his most recent NRL game, Tabuai-Fidow is one of the best try-scoring threats in the game.
He knows how to score 2+ tries in a game, and getting $3.90 is a value price from bookmakers for the Dolphins speedster.
He’s our top value bet for the Dolphins. Cowboys.
