Dragons vs. Raiders Predictions

Best Bet
The Raiders are a level above the Dragons, who made it four consecutive losses when falling to the Cowboys last week.
They don’t have Valentine Holmes to keep a lid on things, and without his experience in the team, they’re not playing well. Therefore, the Raiders should have too many weapons, and the –6.5 line is generous.
They are the form team in the NRL after beating Newcastle 44-18 last week. They are the best second-half team in the competition, so even if the Dragons keep it close in the early stages, punters should feel confident that no matter what the score, they’re capable of a comeback.
Take the –6.5 line before money comes for them late.

Punters cashed with Xavier Savage and Kaeo Weekes last week, and there is no reason to jump off their backs against the Dragons.
Savage has two tries from his last three games and given how weak the Dragons’ defence was against the Cowboys last week, he should get a good opportunity to crash over the line.
The same goes for Weekes, who have five tries from his last four games. He’s one of the more promising NRL players for the Raiders, and punters get $2.03 for him to score.
Over 46.5 goes into our NRL SGM picks as they scored 52 points in their previous meeting this year. A similar result should be on the cards this week.

Statistics suggest Simi Sasagi will score a try against the Dragons, despite the odds suggesting otherwise.
The Raiders big man has tries in three of his last four games, and although he’s not a noted try scorer, he has a knack for finding the line.
Look for him to take advantage of a tiring Dragons defence late in the game.
