Dragons vs. Sea Eagles Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Sea Eagles don’t have a good history against the Dragons, but after beating the Dolphins 58-30 last week, they should be confident of another big performance.
The Dragons have only 14 points from their last two games, including a 40-0 loss to the Rabbitohs last week, which was a terrible performance. We can’t get that effort out of our heads, and the Dragons might be desperately looking for the year to end.
It will be a frustrating year for the Sea Eagles, who will go close to making the top eight, but they could end the year on the high with a few victories.
—
Same Game Multi
Lehi Hopoate and Jason Saab are good try-scoring options for Manly. Hopoate turned his form around with a double last week, and a confident Hopoate is a dangerous player.
We also like Saab to get back to his best form. He’s one of the quickest players in the NRL, if not the quickest, and that speed could show up against a tired Dragons defence. They allowed 40 points to the Rabbitohs, so Saab could run rings around them.
Under 48.5 is included in our NRL same game multis because we can’t see the Dragons scoring more than 20 points.

Best Value Bet
The Sea Eagles could dominate from the outset, and it could pay to take the $2.45 odds for a halftime/fulltime result.
Despite playing at home, the Dragons are likely to struggle with their attitude. They have clearly given up on finishing off strongly, but Manly is a proud club, and it showed last week that it still wants to close out on a high.
We’re taking the $2.45 odds, which could shorten to around $2.20 on game day.
