Dragons vs. Warriors Predictions
—
Best Bet
There wasn’t much between the Dragons and Warriors when markets opened, but money has come for the Warriors throughout the week.
They are one of the form teams of the competition having won three on the bounce against the Broncos, Knights, and Cowboys. They did pick up some injuries last week to Rocco Berry and Ed Kosi, but they get back superstar winger Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.
Those additions couldn’t have come at a better time for the Warriors, who look to hand the Dragons their third straight loss. The Dragons have a 25-12 advantage over the Warriors, but we’re putting our faith in the road game. It could pay to take the odds before more money comes for them.
Same Game Multi
It would be great to see Watene-Zelezniak score a try in his return, and considering how well the Warriors’ season is going, it would make for a good storyline. He scored three tries in his most recent game, so he was firing before getting injured.
He’s a $1.70 chance to score, but Luke Metcalf is paying much better odds at $3.05. Metcalf has been excellent for the Warriors, having scored five tries from his last five games, including a double against the Cowboys last week.
That’s an excellent price for someone playing with confidence, and it shows that he’s not just a half that organises. He loves to sniff out a try, so include the odds in picks.
Over 46.5 is included in our same game multi, and there should be plenty of tries scored. It should be an open contest, that could end with the Warriors winning 26-22.
Best Value Bet
Adam Pompey is a good chance to score a double, and the $10.50 odds are worth taking.
He scored two tries against the Knights before adding one try last week, and when he’s playing well, he knows how to score multiple tries.
Considering Watene-Zelezniak is $3.70 to score twice, we’ll take the much better double-figure odds for Pompey to cross for a double.
