Friday 16/5/25
The Knights and Eels come off Round 10 losses, but we have been more impressed by the Eels recently, despite not winning many games.
They are much better with Mitchell Moses in the team, and we think it’s only a matter of time before they start stringing wins together.
Newcastle played well two weeks ago, but didn’t follow it up, so the Eels at +2.5 represent better value.

There is a lot of hype around the Bulldogs after coming back from 20-0 down to beat the Raiders in style last week but beating the Roosters by more than 7.5 points isn’t easy.
The Roosters haven’t been the most consistent team in 2025, but they like to play best when least expected, and this would be one of those weeks.
It should be a close game, so take the underdogs with the points.

Saturday 17/5/25
The Warriors have worked their way to second on the NRL ladder, and the eye another hard-fought win over the Dolphins on Saturday.
The Dolphins present some challenges, and the Warriors have struggled at times against fast teams, but their defence is solid, and they’re playing with more confidence than their rivals on Saturday night.
Given their impressive winning form, we’re backing the Warriors to make it five straight.

The Cowboys have much better recent form than the Sea Eagles, and they were hard done by last week when drawing with the Panthers.
They had to settle for the draw, but it’s enough to keep them inside the top eight, and they should account for the struggling Sea Eagles, who lost to the Sharks at home in Round 10.
Getting $1.81 is an excellent price with NRL odds.

The Storm are about the only team in the NRL that can win like they did against the Tigers last week, and that’s why they’re the premiership favourites.
They put on a scoring clinic against the hapless Tigers, winning 64-0 in the biggest thrashing in 2025, and they did it without star hooker Harry Grant.
That’s bad news for the Sharks, who won well last week, but they meet a Storm team ready to kick on with it.

Sunday 18/5/25
The Dragons might have pushed the Warriors close last week, but we haven’t been overly thrilled by their recent form. Therefore, we’re taking the Broncos to produce the goods at home.
Consistency hasn’t been easy for the Broncos, who gave up a sizable lead when losing to the Rabbitohs last week. However, with only one win from their last five, they know how important this game is, and they should score a comfortable win.

Money could come for the Raiders to win and cover the spread, as they look to turn around a stunning defeat to the Bulldogs last week.
They led 20-0 at halftime before giving up 32 unanswered points. It was a shocking defeat, and although the Titans come off a comeback win, they don’t often win consecutive games.
Therefore, the Raiders should pick themselves up and be too good at home.

Backing the Tigers is like a rollercoaster, and although smashed against the Storm last week, they could bounce back with a win over the Rabbitohs.
Styles make fights in the NRL, and the Tigers simply didn’t handle the up-tempo play from Melbourne. However, the Rabbitohs play a more physical game, which helps the Tigers.
It’s a tough game to predict, but we’re taking a risk with the home team.
