NRL Round 16 Tips

Friday 20/6/25
The Tigers pushed the Panthers close two weeks ago before getting a bye last week, and they should be ready to fire against the Raiders.
Canberra isn’t an easy team to beat, but playing at Campbelltown Stadium is ideal, and they should have every chance of keeping it close against a team that has overachieved to this point.
Getting a +8.5 start in this situation is ideal for punters.

The Warriors are playing much better than the Panthers, but we didn’t expect bookmakers to have the home team at –12.5.
The Panthers are the more desperate team, and they have had success against the Warriors over the last four years. Therefore, even with the likes of Nathan Cleary coming off State of Origin, they should keep it close.
New Zealand tends to not play well when well-backed to win, so take the underdogs.

The Dolphins are one of the hottest teams in the NRL after handing the Cowboys a massive loss last week. They won 58-4 in one of the more one-sided games of 2025, and they should hand the Knights a big loss.
Scoring points doesn’t come easily for the Knights, who scored only eight points against the Roosters last week, and keeping up with the Dolphins could prove too much for them.
Take the Dolphins to score another big win on Saturday.

The Storm has slipped down to fourth on the NRL ladder, but they’re still the best team in the competition, as the Rabbitohs could find out on Saturday.
There is a stack of talent in the Storm team, and although they might be tired after playing Origin on Wednesday, that hasn’t hurt them in the past.
Covering a –7.5 line isn’t hard for a team with the class of Melbourne, so back the favourites to hand South Sydney another loss.

We don’t expect there to be much between the Broncos and Sharks, with both teams desperately needing some success in the next few weeks.
The Broncos started the year well before playing average rugby league during the middle stages. The Sharks weren’t playing much better, but their win over the Dragons last week could get them back into contention.
It was a good come-from-behind win, so getting a +4.5 line is generous.

The Roosters didn’t play well against the Knights last week, but they did enough to score a 12-8 win.
It was a tough effort, especially defensively, and with the Cowboys coming off a shock loss to the Dolphins by a record margin, they’re struggling mentally.
Take the –5.5 line before money comes for the Roosters, which could move the line to 6.5.

It’s not the easiest game to predict in Round 16, especially with the Eels missing some of their best players.
The Titans have been distinctly average in 2025, but they won’t get a better opportunity to notch a win over a team that hasn’t had much go right for them.
Money should come for the Titans to win, so include them in NRL multi bets.
