Panthers vs. Rabbitohs Predictions
—
Best Bet
Our initial picks had the Panthers covering the spread, and although losing their two best players isn’t ideal, the team is more impressive than a full-strength Rabbitohs.
The Panthers have climbed back into finals contention with an impressive winning streak, and with the Rabbitohs enduring a losing streak, we can’t take them to cover the spread, especially with Jamie Humphreys at halfback and Campbell Graham being out.
With momentum on their side, the Panthers should be good enough to cover the spread, and we don’t trust this Rabbitohs team to get the job done. We think the market has overreacted to Cleary and Yeo not playing, but they still have quality players in the team.

Same Game Multi
Punters are hoping Brian To’o can bring his Origin try-scoring efforts to the NRL after scoring just once from his last five games. However, he’s a classy winger, and he should cross the line for an important four-pointer on Friday night.
To’o is a $1.81 chance to score a try, which is on the second line of betting for the Panthers behind Thomas Jenkins, who has six tries from his last five games. He has matured into their top scoring threat, so he’s included in our NRL same game multi picks.
Under 45.5 points is also in there. They combined for 46 points earlier this year, but the Rabbits scored 28 points, and we can’t see that happening again without Cody Walker.

Best Value Bet
There is enough value in the Panthers 13+ odds for punters to take with confidence. They have already beaten the Warriors without their star players, so they can do it again.
The depth with the Panthers is better than most NRL teams, and they have enough experience with the likes of Dylan Edwards, To’o, and Mitch Kenny to send the Rabbitohs packing from any chance of getting into the playoffs.
