Rabbitohs vs. Dragons Predictions
—
Best Bet
We thought the opening odds for the Rabbitohs were overly generous, especially for a team coming off back-to-back wins over the Eels and Titans.
They haven’t been beating tough teams, but holding off the Eels was a good effort, and the Dragons come off a dour loss to the Warriors, where they lost multiple players to concussion.
That could be too much for the Dragons to overcome, and with only pride on the line for teams missing the finals, it comes down to heart. With the Rabbitohs coached by the master Wayne Bennett, punters know they will be well-trained for this game.
Take the $1.85 odds in head-to-head markets before more money comes for the Rabbitohs.

Same Game Multi
We expect most of the tries to come from the Rabbitohs, and Alex Johnson is our best try-scoring bet. Johnson scored a double against the Titans, and although he didn’t score last week, he’s a prolific scoring threat.
Punters get $1.72 for Johnson to score and $2.12 for Munro to score in back-to-back games. He’s worth including in NRL SGM picks as a value bet, and with two tries in his last three games, he’s one of the form players.
Under 41.5 points is included in our multi bet. We can’t see the Dragons putting too many points on the board, especially with many of their players sitting on the sidelines.

Best Value Bet
It would take a big effort for the Dragons to keep it close against the Rabbitohs, but we expect South Sydney to be far too good.
It has enough offensive power and solid defence for the Dragons to handle, and after a physical game against the Warriors, the Dragons could be a tired footy team.
The $2.35 odds are worth including as a value bet.
