Raiders vs. Sea Eagles Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Raiders were beaten 40-12 against the Sea Eagles earlier this year, but we can’t see that result happening again.
Canberra is playing much better than Manly, after the Sea Eagles scored just eight points from their last two games, and they gave up 62 points. They’re not playing well, and the pressure of trying to make the top eight has got to them.
The Raiders need to bounce back after suffering a shock loss to the Dragons, but it can be good to lose a game on the way to the finals. They might have needed the wakeup call, so expect a stronger performance from the Raiders, who we’re picking the cover the –6.5 spread.

Same Game Multi
Xavier Savage is the current favourite to score a try and we’re happy to include him in picks. He didn’t score last week, but his form prior included two tries from three games.
We also like Matt Timoko to continue his form after scoring doubles in his last two games. He is loving life recently, and we’re loving the $2.18 odds from bookmakers, so include him in NRL same game multis to boost payouts.
We’re backing under 46.5 points because we don’t see Manly scoring points. It has been muscling up defensively, but that has tired them out on offence. It should result in the Sea Eagles scoring around 10 points.

Best Value Bet
Playing at home is a big asset for the Raiders, who should be licking their lips at the prospect of playing a Sea Eagles team without many of their top players.
Manly tried hard to stay in the finals hunt, but it appears as though its run has ended abruptly after two poor losses.
Look for the Raiders to jump on them early and post a comfortable win.
