The Dragons have struggled recently against the Roosters, but this is a different Dragons outfit. It’s one that defeated the Sea Eagles 20-18 last week and the Storm earlier in the competition. The additions they made in the offseason have worked out, so everything points towards a top finish.
It hasn’t been the same story for the Roosters, who have been wildly inconsistent. They are 1-4 from their last five games, with the win coming over the Broncos in a big upset. However, they were hammered 40-12 by the Panthers last week, which isn’t a good sign.
We’re picking the Dragons to prevail in what could be a thriller. They have strike power with Valentine Holmes, Tyrell Sloan, and Sione Finau, and that could make the difference against a Roosters team playing without confidence.
