Roosters vs. Storm Predictions

Best Bet
We recommend taking the Storm –3.5 before the line changes. After losing to Manly last week, they will want to produce the goods against a struggling Roosters outfit.
Sydney didn’t play well against the Sharks last week, and their forward pack was getting sent backwards. They were also getting left on the ground in the marker position, and Melbourne should look to capitalise with Harry Grant at hooker.
We can’t see the Storm losing this game, and the –3.5 line is there for the taking. Money has come for the Storm to cover the spread, and we’re not surprised. They should get the week started on the right note for punters.

Same Game Multi
Xavier Coates was excellent in a losing effort last week, scoring three tries. He’s due for another big effort this week, and punters get $1.81 for the Storm winger to crash over for another try.
The State of Origin player has class on his side, and with his confidence levels sky high, we’re including him in our NRL picks. We’re also including Eliesa Katoa at much better odds of $2.50.
Katoa scored four tries in a three-game span before not scoring last week, but he’s good enough to bounce back. He’s a power runner close to the line, and he’s one of the most improved players in 2025, so take the odds.
Over 45.5 is also worth including based on their meeting last year where 66 points were scored. It should be an open game with plenty of tries.

Best Value Bet
It could be a more one-sided game than bookmakers expect, so we’re taking Storm 13+ at $3 in our NRL predictions this week.
The Storm is the better team, and although their recent form hasn’t been up to scratch, it’s only a matter of time before they produce the goods. The NRL finals are on the horizon, so take the Storm to start showing why they’re still a top premiership hope.
