Titans vs. Storm Predictions
—
Best Bet
The Storm were cruising at one stage of the season, and it looked like they could go 2025 without losing too many more games. However, with three losses from their last five games, they need to get back to what they do best.
Sometimes it all comes too easily for the Storm, but against teams like Gold Coast, which have suspect defence, they often dominate. They won 22-20 in last year’s encounter, but they won 37-16 in 2023, which is a better form guide.
Having beaten the Tigers 64-0 two weeks ago, punters should be confident of the Storm covering a –11.5 line against a team coming off a 40-24 loss to the Raiders.

Same Game Multi
It’s hard not to include Xavier Coates and Ryan Papenhuizen in our same game multi picks. They are Queensland representatives, and providing they get through Wednesday’s game, they should score against the Gold Coast.
Coates scored three tries in his last game against the Tigers, and the $1.55 odds to score on Saturday afternoon are warranted. As is the $1.56 for Papenhuizen to score, with the fullback scoring seven tries in his last five games.
Because we expect the Storm to score so many tries, we’re including over 50.5 points in our multi. The score could be around 40-16, which is enough to see the over cash, and bookmakers have the line in the high range because of Melbourne’s ability to pile on the points.

Best Value Bet
Big Nelson Asofa-Solomona is a good chance to score a try against the Titans, and punters get a healthy $5.10 line from bookmakers.
He scored a try against the Tigers in the 50th minute, and with eight different Storm players scoring in that game, it was good to see Asofa-Solomona get in the action.
It could be a similar result against Gold Coast, whose defence gets tired in the second half and the big man could crash through the line.
