Wests Tigers vs. Panthers Predictions

Best Bet

Wests Tigers +9.5 @ $1.90

Putting our faith in the Tigers isn’t easy, but after producing an epic comeback to lose 32-28 to the Cowboys last week, we’re happy to back them at +9.5 against the Panthers.

The Tigers are an enigmatic team, and with Lachlan Galvin leaving the Tigers to play for the Bulldogs, all is not well with their management. However, if the team has any spirit, they will play well in a must-win situation.

Sitting in 13th spot isn’t good enough, but they play the 14th-placed Panthers, who are going through some struggles of their own. The four-time champions lost 25-6 to the Knights before bouncing back with a win over the Eels, but they are there for the taking, so take Tigers +9.5.

Same Game Multi

Tigers +9.5, Sunia Turuva Anytime Try Scorer, Brian To’o Anytime Try Scorer, Under 45.5 @ $14.00

We would love to see Sunia Turuva score against his old team and break a three-game scoreless drought. The winger needs to be at his best for the Tigers to have a chance of covering the spread, and the former Panthers combo of Turuva and Jarome Luai should link up.

Punters get $2.12 for him to get back to scoring form, and we’re also including Brian To’o to score at $1.65. He scored late against the Eels last week following State of Origin duty, and his confidence are returning to their top levels.

The Tigers and Panthers combined for 28 points last year and 20 points in 2023. Under 45.5 points is a great NRL same game multi pick, and although they combine for around 40 points, that’s enough leeway for punters to enjoy.

Best Value Bet

Sunia Turuva First Try Scorer @ $10.00

The best way to get back into a scoring groove is by scoring first, and it would make for a good story for the former Panthers winger.

He looked good earlier in the season when often getting the Tigers off to a fast start, and although his form has dried up, he should be eyeing this game as a big moment.

Getting $10 for Turuva to score first is a good value bet.
