Wests Tigers vs. Sharks Predictions
—
Best Bet
Sharks 1-12 @ $2.80
There shouldn’t be much between the Tigers and Sharks, but they are two of the hardest teams to predict.
The Tigers were overpowered by the Eels late last week, and the situation with Lachie Galvin doesn’t help their chances. He returns to the team this week, but we’re not sure how well the young star will play.
Momentum is with the Sharks, who scored wins over the Sea Eagles and Knights. However, they didn’t look overly impressive in those wins, which is why we’re taking them 1-12 at generous odds of $2.80.
We can’t see the Sharks winning by more than two converted tries, and the Tigers are unlikely to win outright, so the best play is backing the Sharks to win in a close contest.

Same Game Multi
Sharks H2H, Sam Stonestreet Anytime Try Scorer, Ronaldo Mulitalo Anytime Try Scorer, Over 47.5 @ $5.25
Sam Stonestreet has scored four tries in his last two games, and he’s a good chance of scoring against the Tigers. Punters get only $1.65 for him to score, but he’s worth including in same game multi bets on Sunday.
A player at slightly better value is Ronaldo Mulitalo, who has been criticised for having not scored recently. He has no tries from his last five games, and for a prolific try scorer, that’s unusual. However, due to this criticisim, he could cross for an overdue try.
He’s a $1.80 chance to score a try, and there should be plenty of tries in the game. We’re backing over 47.5 points, and there were 64 points scored when they met in 2024. The Tigers have only improved since, so their offence should produce a few tries.
Best Value Bet
Ronaldo Mulitalo First Try Scorer @ $9.00
There is no one hungrier in this game to score a try than Mulitalo, and he could make an early impression on Sunday afternoon.
He is one of the best finishers in the game, and he hasn’t received quality ball to finish this season. However, with an emphasis to get him the ball against the Tigers, he should get an early chance to convert.
It’s a situational value play, and getting $9 is a healthy price.
