Men’s Golf Best Bet – Xander Schauffele
Looking to defend his Olympic gold medal is Xander Schauffele, and after a great result at The Open Championship, he’s one to follow.
The American might be considered the second-best golfer behind Scheffler, but he knows what it takes to win at the Olympics.
Having experience winning in Tokyo puts him above the rest of the opposition, and he’s already a major winner this year.
There is no reason why Schauffele can’t win gold at the Olympics, so he’s our top pick at generous odds of $9.00.
We’re happy taking that price against a field that is limited compared to most major and PGA golf tournaments.
Bet: Xander Schauffele @ $9.00
Men’s Golf Best Value – Matthieu Pavon
We always like taking a home town hero in golf betting markets, and Matthieu Pavon is our guy for 2024 in Paris.
The Frenchman is having a great year, having won the 2024 Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour, and also finishing fifth at the U.S. Open and T12 at The Masters.
Pavon isn’t as popular as the American golfers, so punters get value odds. He’s currently paying $67.00 to win, which is a crazy price for a French golfer.
He will have plenty of crowd support, and he’s playing well enough to be around $29.00 to win, so take the value available for the upset chance.
Bet: Matthieu Pavon @ $67.00

Women’s Golf Best Bet – Nelly Korda
It comes as no surprise to see Nelly Korda listed as the favourite, and it should come as no surprise to see her as our top pick.
She has played incredibly throughout the year, and although her recent form hasn’t been as good, she is the one they must beat.
The American is the defending champion, so we’re backing both defending champions to win again. However, after winning six tournaments already this year, including the Chevron Championship, getting $7.50 is a great price.
We thought bookmakers would have priced her around $4.50, and although winning gold isn’t easy, she won by a shot in Tokyo, and she could extend that margin in Paris.
Bet: Nelly Korda @ $7.50
Women’s Golf Best Value – Lydio Ko
Leaving out Lydia Ko would be a mistake, especially at the generous odds.
Ko won silver at the 2016 games and bronze at the 2020 games, so there is no reason why she can’t improve on those efforts.
The New Zealand 27-year-old isn’t having her finest year, and there have been talks of retirement. However, she’s still out there competing, and she has more left in the tank.
Getting $41.00 for a player of her ability is too good to overlook. Ko is still one of the best players in the world, and her experience medaling at the Olympics puts her above most other golfers in the field.
Bet: Lydia Ko @ $41.00
