We have Argentina vs. New Zealand predictions for the Rugby Championship game on Sunday August 24 at 7:10am.

Argentina vs. New Zealand Predictions

Best Bet

All Blacks –10.5 @ $1.90

We jumped on the –8.5 line for the All Blacks last week and it never came under threat. They were far too good for Argentina, and we thought bookmakers would have had the line at around –14.5 for the second game.

There is a significant class difference between these teams, and although the All Blacks didn’t play their best last week, they still did enough to cover the spread with a couple of tries in hand. Therefore, they should cover the –10.5 line.

New Zealand sees this series as a good way to get points on the board, and it should result in another comfortable victory.

Same Game Multi

All Blacks –10.5, Sevu Reece Anytime Try Scorer, Will Jordan Anytime Try Scorer, Over 56.5 @ $7.50

We are going with the same SGM picks we went with last week. Sevu Reece and Will Jordan rarely let punters down, and Jordan scored a blinder of a try last week.

Punters don’t get massive odds for Reece to score at $1.60, but the All Blacks winger should fancy his chances of scoring against a tiring Argentinian defence. He could score multiple tries when finishing a good backline move.

Getting $1.80 for Jordan to score is excellent value. His ability to cut through the defence is better than most, and his try-scoring record is outstanding.

There should be plenty of points, so we’re backing over 56.5. The final score could be around 40-21, so include it to boost payouts.

Best Value Bet

Sevu Reece First Try Scorer @ $8.75

Reece could have a big game on Sunday morning, and getting $8.75 for the All Blacks winger to score the opening try is good value.

He’s one of the best finishers in the game, and he’s not losing his slick pace. That’s a good sign and considering we believe he could score two tries in this game, he’s a good chance of scoring the first.

Include the $8.75 odds in your Rugby Championship picks.
