We gave the Drua a chance against the Blues last week, but they didnât produce much in a 40-15 loss. It was a disappointing effort, and now they must play the Crusaders in Christchurch, which isnât an easy place to play.
The Crusaders enjoyed a bye week in Week 7, which should have them ready to fire. It followed a comfortable win over Moana Pasifika, and although it hasnât been their finest year to date, there is still enough time for the Crusaders to get back to their best.
Covering a â25.5 line isnât as hard for the Crusaders as it is for other teams. They are stacked with All Black talent, and they could run through the Drua without much standing in their way.

Itâs tough to know what the Waratahs are going to produce every week, but given the way they played last week, weâre taking the +19.5 line against the Chiefs.
They scored a gutsy 30-28 win over the Brumbies, which is an excellent form guide, and it could give the Waratahs a much-needed confidence boost, especially coming up against one of the better New Zealand teams in the competition.
The Chiefs defeated the Force 24-14, but we werenât too impressed. It wasnât a clinical performance, and if they donât hit their mark against the âTahs, they could make them pay.
Getting a +19.5 line is significant, and the Waratahs could play below their best and still cover the spread.

The Reds ended their winning streak when losing heavily to the Hurricanes last week, but a bounce back effort is likely against the Force.
It was a shock to the system for the Reds, who had looked good with four consecutive wins. However, playing NZ teams is much harder than playing the Force, who lost to the Chiefs by 10 points last week in a tight contest.
There has been improvement from the Force this season, but with the Reds playing at Suncorp Stadium, they should have too many guns for the visitors, which is why the current line is â12.5. Weâre including the Reds in our Super Rugby picks this week.
