Australian Open Women’s Tips & Predictions

Best Bet
Two-time Australian Open winner Sabalenka is the best. She might not have been a match for Nick Kyrgios in the Battle of the Sexes, but when she plays against women, she’s the best in the world.
Her ability to win on hard courts is what separates her from the likes of Iga Swiatek, and despite losing the 2025 Australian Open in the final to Madison Keys, she will be eager to avenge that loss.
There is always a worry about her ability to lose big matches, but as she has developed more experience, she tends to close out the tournament. We’re hoping her defeat in 2025 spurs her on to make amends in 2026.

Best Value Bet
Amanda Anisimova had a 2025 to remember after climbing to #4 in the rankings. That was on the back of making the Wimbledon and US Open Final, and although she came up just short, they were encouraging efforts.
The 24-year-old has had a career resurgence after showing plenty of promise as a teenager, and that early experience has done her wonders. She could go to another level now, and we’re loving the $10 odds available.
We can’t leave her out of our tennis picks this week, and she is the best value bet at the Australian Open.

Next Best
The Russian teenager has made a big impact since arriving on the WTA Tour, and although her inexperience hasn’t helped her in big matches, she will only get better with time.
There were big expectations for the 18-year-old, which were slightly unfair, but she’s well-coached, and she only needs to become more resilient to beat the world’s best tennis players.
We priced her at slightly shorter odds than $11, so we’re happy to include her in our 2026 Australian Open picks.

Best Roughie
Elina Svitolina used to be one of the top players in the world before having a baby, but she has been one of the best post-pregnancy players in recent history.
She has already achieved much more than the likes of Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka have after having a baby, and that’s credit to her toughness.
The Ukrainian was ranked #1 in the world at one stage of her career, and although she’s no longer at that level, she is a better player than the $51 represents. Include her in Australian Open picks as a roughie bet.
