Australian Open Men’s Semi-Finals Predictions
—
Jannik Sinner is the tournament favourite for a reason, and he showed why when destroying Ben Shelton in the quarterfinals.
He now faces the greatest of all time, who has been given a free pass into the semis. He didn’t have to play a point against Jacub Mensuk before being 2-0 down against Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti before he pulled out due to injury.
Djokovic was getting well-beaten at the time, and he was having blistering problems. That’s not a good sign when you’re about to face Sinner, who consistently gets winners back in play, and he’s the worthy $1.06 favourite.
We have little doubt that Sinner will beat an ageing Djokovic, and the best value resides in the –7.5 line. We have Sinner winning 6-4, 6-3, 6-3, which is enough to get it done. It would take all of Novak’s greatness to win a set, and we don’t think he has it in him.

Next Best
Our Australian Open picks for the Djokovic vs. Sinner match include under 32.5 games. We have around 26-27 games being played on Friday afternoon, so the under should cash with ease.
Their last meeting came at Wimbledon when Sinner won 3-0, and there was a total of 28 games played. That came on a surface Djokovic loves, and his ability to win points against the world’s best has only slipped since then.
It could be a one-sided semifinal, and there are no weak points in Sinner’s game. Therefore, expect it to be wrapped up quickly on centre court.

Carlos Alcaraz didn’t drop a set against Alex de Minaur, and although Alex Zverev is a better player, we can’t see the Spaniard slipping up on his way to the final.
The closest Alcaraz came to losing a set to the Australian was in the first set, where he was broken twice. However, despite the Demon playing some incredible tennis, he was broken three times, which shows how dangerous Alcaraz is when facing serve.
Getting $2.15 for Alcaraz to win 3-0 is a good price. Zverev’s best chance comes in the first set, but Alcaraz will want to spend as little time on court as possible to prepare for another meeting with Sinner.

Value Bet
There is good value with Alcaraz to win the first set 6-3, and it shouldn’t matter if he serves first or second.
We expect Zverev’s serve to be broken at least once in the first set, as Alcaraz likes to come out strong and set the tone early before completely dominating in the second and third sets.
It’s a tennis prop bet worth including in picks.
