Brisbane vs. Collingwood Predictions

Best Bet

Brisbane –12.5 @ $1.90

It was good to see Brisbane back to its best with a win over the Western Bulldogs last week. It showed good scoring power in the 118-97 win, and if the Lions’ offence roars like that, they should put the Magpies away with ease.

Collingwood has been tough to predict, but it won well against the Swans in Round 5. However, consistency is a big worry for the black and whites, who look to get back to their premiership-winning best form.

It comes as no surprise to see Brisbane listed as the favourite. It currently tops the AFL premiership, and it hasn’t suffered from a grand final hangover. We expect the Lions to be too tough at the Gabba, where they love to play.

Same Game Multi

Brisbane –12.5, Eric Hipwood 2+ Goals, Brody Mihocek 2+ Goals, Total Match Points Over 174.5 @ $8.00

We backed Brody Mihocek last week and he didn’t disappoint. The Collingwood player scored three goals, and we’re backing him again. He owns eight goals from his last four games, so include him at 2+ goals in your Brisbane vs Collingwood same game multi picks.

We’re also including Eric Hipwood 2+ goals at $1.65. He’s paying short odds to score a double, following a five-goal effort against Western Bulldogs. Now that he’s broken through for a big game, expect him to kick on with it for Brisbane.

It should be an entertaining and high-scoring affair. Our AFL tips include Brisbane –12.5 and over 174.5 points, especially after the Lions and Magpies scored over 100 points last week.

Best Value Bet

Brisbane 40+ @ $4.00

Collingwood can play the odd game where the effort level is lacking, and this could be one of those occasions. Brisbane’s offence could explode with 120+ points, and that could see it win by 40+.

There is a fair amount of risk with this betting option, especially compared to taking the Lions –12.5. However, given the $4 odds available with bookmakers, we can’t turn it down. Look for Brisbane to start well and put Collingwood to the sword.
