Backing Port Adelaide with a +48.5 start isn’t easy after they were hammered 133-35 by Adelaide last week. However, they are good enough to keep it close against a Geelong team that is due a poor performance.

After beating St Kilda and North Melbourne with ease, Geelong could find this game much harder. Port Adelaide has enough scoring power to stay in the hunt, especially if Mitch Georgiades plays better than he did last week.

Getting a +48.5 start is big for any team, let alone one sitting in 11^th on the AFL ladder. We’re happy to stick with the Power, who are likely to lose, but they should be within around 30 points at the final hooter.
