GWS vs. Fremantle Predictions
—
Best Bet
The current line for GWS is –18.5, and although we’re picking them to win well, we don’t see them winning by 40+ points. There were only nine points between them when meeting in 2024, and it could be a similar scoreline to that 101-92 victory.
GWS bounced back with a win over Geelong last week, which followed three consecutive losses. It was good to see them back in winning mode after a nice start to the year, and they should take advantage of Fremantle coming off consecutive losses.
Despite owning five losses, the Dockers lost most of those games by small margins. They lost 97-83 to Collingwood last week, and that’s why we like GWS 1-39, which pays a healthy price with AFL odds.

Same Game Multi
Jesse Hogan has been lights out from a goal scoring perspective, scoring seven goals last week and 21 goals from his last five games.
The GSW forward is a dominant scorer, and he’s in charge of winning the Coleman Medal after nine rounds. He was incredible last week against Geelong in a losing effort, and we fancy his chances of scoring three goals against Fremantle.
We also like Jye Amiss to keep Fremantle in the contest. We have backed him consistently this year, and with seven goals from his last four games, he could bounce back after going scoreless against Collingwood. The $2.15 odds boost payouts, so include him in AFL same game multi bets.
Over 174.5 is worth including. They scored 193 points in their most recent meeting, and that’s the best form guide.

Best Value Bet
Punters won’t see odds shorter than $7.25 in first goal scorer markets very often, which shows just how dominant Hogan is.
He likes to get up and running early, and he could have another massive scoring performance. We’re backing him to get things started for the Giants, and the 30-year-old could take advantage of a Fremantle team that can take a quarter to get going.
