The Bombers are doing their best to end the year as poorly as possible, and despite having six wins on the year, they could struggle to score a win over the next handful of weeks. That leaves Sydney in a good position to pick up a crucial win, which they need after squandering a lead last week.

Sydney looked good at halftime against GWS before allowing the Giants to run over them in the second half. It was a disappointing result, but the best way to bounce back is with an easy win over Essendon.
