With Arsenal and Manchester City putting in big performances last weekend, the Premier League title race has a distinctly two horse feel to it currently.
Manchester United are soaring in behind under Michael Carrick, while champions Liverpool and Aston Villa are continuing to mount a Champions League push.
Down at the bottom of the pile, Wolves have been digging deep but look to be heading down to the Championship, as do Burnley, who can’t seem to buy a win.
West Ham, Nottingham Forest and Tottenham are the other sides currently in the relegation shake up and it should be a battle to the wire for survival this term.
It should be another bumper week of games and here are our top Premier League tips:

EPL Week 28 Predictions
—
Wolves ($4.00)
Aston Villa ($1.91)
Draw ($3.75)
A West Midlands derby between Wolves and Aston Villa lies in wait here and Molyneux should be rocking for this Friday night fixture. Wanderers look to be heading towards the Championship at a rate of knots, but they have produced some decent showings in the Premier League of late, particularly at home. Aston Villa meanwhile have been excellent this term, but injuries have been taking its toll, and they are dropping off the pace in the title race. There is no love lost between these two sides and Villa could get the job done here.
Aston Villa to win 3-1
—
Bournemouth ($1.83)
Sunderland ($4.50)
Draw ($3.80)
Two sides that have enjoyed very good seasons thus far meet here, as Bournemouth host Sunderland. The Cherries have been excellent at home throughout the campaign and with some gritty showings on the road of late, they remain a real force in the division. For Sunderland, this is a chance to regain some momentum following a tough couple of weeks, but the Vitality Stadium is never an easy place to go. Bournemouth are in better form than the Black Cats and they should win this one.
Bournemouth to win 3-1
—
Burnley ($4.33)
Brentford ($1.80)
Draw ($3.80)
Burnley’s stay in the Premier League looks set to come to an end again this season but they won’t be giving up on their top flight status easily, as they take on Brentford this weekend. The Clarets fought back to earn a point against Chelsea last time out, but recent home results and performances have been very poor. Brentford meanwhile were humbled by Brighton in their last home game, but they have been impressive this term and they look decent value to win here.
Brentford to win 2-0
—
Liverpool ($1.40)
West Ham United ($8.50)
Draw ($5.50)
It has been a curious campaign for Liverpool, who have seriously struggled at times but their win at Nottingham Forest should give them a boost ahead of this one against West Ham. The reds aren’t in the conversation to be crowned Premier League champions this time around, but they are in a battle to secure Champions League football next term. Meanwhile, West Ham have been improving steadily under Nuno Espirito Santo but can’t fully pull themselves out of relegation trouble. This may not be a classic, but Liverpool should win here.
Liverpool to win 2-1
—
Newcastle United ($1.80)
Everton ($4.75)
Draw ($3.80)
With Champions League progression assured, Newcastle will be looking to keep momentum going in their season, as they take on Everton. Toon were undone by Manchester City last time out, but they have been going well other than that, with four wins from their last five games played. Everton can’t seem to develop any consistency under David Moyes, but they are always difficult to break down and are a threat in games like this. While there won’t be much in this, Newcastle should manage an important win.
Newcastle United to win 2-1
—
Leeds United ($5.50)
Manchester City ($1.65)
Draw ($4.40)
Title chasing Manchester City will need to put in a strong showing here, as they travel across the Pennines to Leeds. The whites have been in decent form under Daniel Farke and are a very tough side to beat, as detailed in their draw with Aston Villa last weekend. City are going well in all competitions, but something will have to give for Pep Guardiola’s side at some point. This will be frantic and fully charged, with Leeds good enough to pick up a deserved point.
1-1 Draw
—
Manchester United ($1.60)
Crystal Palace ($5.80)
Draw ($4.50)
There is a real sense of optimism swelling around Salford at the moment and Manchester United will be keen to kick on with their Champions League push, at home to Crystal Palace. The Red Devils are going superbly under Michael Carrick and European football feels a very realistic goal for them this term. Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are in freefall under Oliver Glasner and seemingly want the season to end quickly. This should be one way traffic, with United ready to pick up an important win.
Manchester United to win 3-0
—
Brighton ($2.10)
Nottingham Forest ($3.45)
Draw ($3.60)
Another pair of sides lacking fluency meet here, as Brighton host Nottingham Forest down on the south coast. The Seagulls are really struggling to pick up results but their gritty win at Brentford last time out should give them a boost. Nottingham Forest meanwhile are under Vitor Pereira’s stewardship now and they know they need to dig in, to avoid being embroiled in a relegation scrap. This may not be pretty, and it could end up being a drab draw.
0-0 Draw
—
Fulham ($2.25)
Tottenham ($3.25)
Draw ($3.80)
A London derby of sorts pits Fulham against Tottenham, with the pressure really beginning to mount on Spurs. Fulham are going well under Marco Silva and although they may be pushed to crack the European places come the end of the season, the Cottagers are an accomplished side. Tottenham are seriously struggling in the Premier League and their 4-1 thumping by Arsenal was representative of that. All of the pressure will be on the visitors here and Fulham should dispatch them comfortably.
Fulham to win 3-1
—
Arsenal ($1.67)
Chelsea ($5.25)
Draw ($4.00)
League leaders Arsenal face their next big test of the campaign, as they welcome Chelsea to North London. A huge win over Spurs last weekend has lifted the mood amongst the Gunners faithful and they look well placed to continue their title tilt. Chelsea meanwhile are beginning to huff and puff again under Liam Rosenior and this feels like a big game for his tenure at the club. All the momentum is with Arsenal though and the Gunners should prevail here.
Arsenal to win 3-1
