The Meadows racing tips

Race 3. (19:34) Sportsbet Heat 3 (525m)
#1 – Recycled
Recycled owns six placings from six starts, and it’s about time he got off the mark.
The one-year-old son of Aston Dee Bee comes off a third placing, and something slightly better is good enough to win.
Getting the inside trap adds to his appeal.
Race 6. (20:27) GRV Race Data (525m)
#1 – Underway
Underway owns five wins and eight placings from 19 starts, including two wins at the track and distance.
The two-year-old son of Fernando Bale comes off a win at Horsham, and that form is good enough to handle this company.
Look for him to use the inside trap to his advantage.
Race 8. (21:18) Total Container Solutions (525m)
#8 – Sparkling Rose
We backed Sparkling Rose at Sandown Park last week when she ran third, but we’re happy to stick with her.
The one-year-old looked excellent prior when winning three consecutive races, which is top form for this race.
Look for anything better than $2.00 odds.
Race 10. (21:57) National Greyhound Adoption Month (525m)
#7 – Simon Ali
Simon Ali comes off consecutive wins at The Meadows, and he’s our top pick to keep winning.
The two-year-old son of Barcia Bale won well enough last time out to warrant attention, and he could get a nice run into the race.
He gets everything to suit in this race, so follow the money.

Race 2. (19:17) SJC Concreting (390m)
#8 – Nacho Problem
Nacho Problem has more experience than every runner in this field, so that should count for plenty.
The one-year-old looked best when placing at Bendigo two starts back, and a repeat of that would be good enough.
Drawing wide allows him time to press around the outside.
Race 4. (19:57) Eureka Concrete 2-3 Wins (390m)
#2 – Tricky Disco
Tricky Disco hasn’t had much luck recently, but he could get back to his best form.
The two-year-old son of Superior Panama owns three wins and two placings from 14 starts, which is a solid record.
It’s a tough field, so punters should get value odds.
Race 6. (20:37) Greyhound Adoption Program (450m)
#3 – Cool Nature
Cool Nature looked good winning at Warrnambool two back before placing at Geelong last time out.
That’s solid enough form to contend at this level, and the daughter of Fernando Bale usually sits on the speed.
She’s good enough to handle this field.
Race 8. (21:24) Paua of Buddy at Stud (450m)
#2 – Gold Scotch
Gold Scotch owns four wins from seven starts overall, including her last two starts.
The two-year-old daughter of Hooked on Scotch won by six lengths at Geelong last start at $1.50 odds, so punters should expect a short quote.
Getting an inside trap could be enough to see her win again.
