Race 2. (19:10) Sandown Vet Clinic (515m)
#8 – Docherty
Form is with Docherty, who owns two wins and a placing from three career starts.
The one-year-old son of Tommy Shelby won at Warragul last time out, and although it was a close finish, he showed good fight.
That form shapes up nicely for this race.
Race 5. (20:10) Download the Watchdog App (515m)
#3 – Nashville Bale
Nashville Bale owns four wins and three placings from nine starts, so he’s a greyhound worth following.
The son of Droopys Sydney didn’t fire at his only attempt at Sandown Park, but that came against a tough field when finishing fourth.
He showed good pace throughout when winning at The Meadows last start, which is an ideal form guide.
Race 7. (20:49) Hard Style Rico at Stud (515m)
#5 – Sparkling Rose
Sparkling Rose keeps showing good trap speed, which has won her the last three races.
The one-year-old won at The Meadows last time out by four lengths, and she’s a past winner at Sandown Park.
With eight wins from 16 starts, we expect another top effort.
Race 9. (21:31) Sandowngreyhounds.com.au (595m)
#1 – Jye’s Jet
Jye’s Jet turned his form around when winning at The Meadows last start, and that should do his confidence the world of good.
The four-year-old is an 11-time winner, including owning a solid record at Sandown Park, so we’re confident of a good run.
Punters should get each-way odds on race night.

Race 3. (17:57) Wannon Park Bingo (390m)
#1 – Car Wash Chaos
Car Wash Chaos owns two wins from three starts, so there is nothing wrong with his form to kick off his career.
The son of Flying Ricciardo won by four lengths last time out, so we’re happy to stick with him on Thursday night.
Anything around $2.00 would be a good price.
Race 6. (19:07) Sportsbet Heat 3 (450m)
#2 – Passing
Passing won earlier this preparation at Horsham, and something close to that would be good enough for this race.
The one-year-old owns a win and four placings from eight starts, and getting an inside trap adds to her appeal.
She’s better than what she showed last start, so include at each-way odds.
Race 7. (19:22) Warrnambool Fencing Specialists (450m)
#7 – Beyond Blessed
Beyond Blessed loves to lead throughout, and getting trap seven should allow her to find the front.
The two-year-old owns five wins from 15 starts, so the strike rate is good enough to include her in selections.
She won at this track last start, which is an ideal form guide.
Race 9. (19:52) Cassign Design (450m)
#1 – Duchess Georgia
Duchess Georgia is gunning for her fourth consecutive win, so that form is tough to overlook.
The one-year-old daughter of Bernardo has found her confidence, and getting the inside trap won’t do her any harm.
Look for a positive betting push on race day.
